Lenny Harris: Gunshot killed community activist

Prince George's County Police on Monday said that Alexandria activist Lenny Harris died from a gunshot wound.

The newest news comes after it was revealed that Harris' body was found in a well at a home in Fort Washington last week. Police had identified the body was that of Harris, 53, on Thursday. Harris had been missing since September.

The autopsy showed Harris was murdered, according to Julie Parker, Prince George's County Police spokesperson.

It’s unclear how Harris died or how his body ended up in the well.
