Chantilly attempted sexual assault case reported
An armed suspect grabbed a woman and attempted to sexually assault her in Chantilly on Sunday.
Police said the woman was walking home at about 9:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of Elmwood Street. The suspect displayed a weapon, moved the victim a short distance and attempted to sexually assault her.
The suspect fled on foot and the victim didn’t require medical attention.
The suspect is described as white and tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a dark colored jacket, dark colored pants, and he concealed his face from the victim.
