D.C. Councilman Marion Barry returns to work after minor surgery

D.C. Councilman Marion Barry says he’ll return to work today after having minor surgery.

Monday night, he tweeted, “Surgery went exceptionally well. Rested for a couple of days. Back to work on Tuesday.”
Barry was released from the Sibley Hospital on Saturday. His office says he underwent a minor procedure involving the urinary tract.
