TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (AP) - Prince George's County police are looking for a man who fled after an officer confronting him at the scene of a domestic dispute fired a gun.
Officers were called to a home in the 2600 block of Keating Street in Temple Hills around 4 a.m. Sunday for a domestic dispute.
Police spokesman Cpl. Evan Baxter says a man was trying to leave the area, but officers tried to stop him.
During the confrontation, Baxter says one officer, fearing for their safety, fired his weapon. He says the man escaped and police are still searching for him.
Baxter says no injuries were reported.
