D.C. roads reopened after flooding
January 12, 2012 - 05:22 am
UPDATE: All lanes have been reopened, according to D.C. police.
ORIGINAL: Heavy rainfall in the D.C. region has prompted the closure of two roads in the area.
In Southeast, the underpass of South Capitol Street and Malcolm X Avenue are closed in both directions. The entrance to the underpass has been blocked by police and traffic is being diverted to the service roads right of the underpass.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
