James Christensen, 76, dies in McLean crash

A 76-year-old man died in a traffic crash Friday in McLean, officials said.

On January 27 around noon, police responded to a crash on Beverly Road.

James Christensen, 76, of 608 Kingsley Road in Vienna was driving a 2002 Ford Taurus south on Beverly Road, when he may have suffered a medical emergency, according to a McLean Police news release.

Christensen's car crossed into the northbound lane of Beverly Road, hit a parked vehicle and then struck a utility pole.

Christensen was taken to a local hospital where he died later that evening.
