John Holiday Hawkins, missing Temple Hills man, found safe

UPDATE: On Thursday, January 5, authorities announced that John Hawkins has been located and is safe.
ORIGINAL: Prince George’s County police need your help to find a critically missing Temple Hills man.
Police say 76-year-old John Holiday Hawkins was last seen driving away from his home in Temple Hills Tuesday night. Hawkins was taking a family member to the Naylor Road Metro Station and was driving a 2005 green Chrysler 300 with a Maryland tag of A056455, police say.
Hawkins suffers from diabetes and dementia, and needs his medication.
He is described as a black male with a dark complexion. He is approximately 5’9” tall and weighs about 300 pounds with gray hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jean shirt and black/white-checkered pants.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at (301) 749-4901.
