WASHINGTON (AP) - A District of Columbia man wanted in the fatal stabbing of a woman last month has been arrested.
Lt. Paul Wingate says John William Smith Jr. was arrested Tuesday in Baltimore.
He's being charged with second-degree murder in the Dec. 4 fatal stabbing of 47-year-old Elaine Coleman in northeast Washington.
Wingate says Smith is being returned to D.C. to face the charge.
He says the stabbing was domestic in nature.
