Police say the victim was walking in the 5000 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue, NE, at about 4 p.m. when the suspect approached her, displayed a gun and forced her to the rear of the 5000 block of Hayes Street, NE, where he sexually assaulted her, police say.

Police say the suspect is described as an adult black male with a light complexion, 5'8" tall, approximately 220 pounds with a stocky build. He is further described as bald, having slanted eyes, a gap in his teeth, and a grey beard. He was last seen wearing an all grey sweat suit.
