LL Cool J will host the Grammys
January 18, 2012 - 02:25 pm
LL Cool J has been chosen to host the first Grammy awards since 2005, according to ET. He will be added to a prestigious list of hosts including Queen Latifah, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jon Stewart.
Even though LL Cool J has hosted the Grammys nomination concert show since 2008, alongside of his role on NCIS: Los Angeles, he is excited for the opportunity.
"I am thrilled to be part of music's biggest night," he tells ET. "I will always have fond memories of my first Grammy Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true."
Nominees include Adele, Taylor Swift, and Bruno Mars, who are also all scheduled to perform. The show is set to air on February 12.
