Marlon Summerville, patient at Prince William Hospital, stabs victim
January 3, 2012 - 12:46 pm
A patient at Prince William Hospital stabbed a person inside the facility Monday night.
Manassas City Police Sgt. Eddie Rivera said the suspect, Marlon Summerville, stabbed the victim with a pair of scissors.
Police officers shocked Summerville with a Taser multiple times, used pepper spray on him and a police canine also bit the suspect in the arm, police said, but the suspect wouldn't comply with officers' orders.
Police finally struck Summerville with a baton in order to get him to drop the scissors, police said.
The victim suffered a minor puncture wound to the face.
