Metro extends morning rush hour due to icy conditions
January 23, 2012 - 04:50 am
Metro is extending their morning rush hour service Monday to accommodate customers traveling to work later than usual due to the icy conditions in the area.
A freezing rain advisory remains in effect for much of the Washington region. As a result, Metrorail and Metrobus will operate additional trips during the late morning hours.
All Metro services will operate normal hours today, but commuters are encouraged to allow extra travel time.
