Montgomery Village CVS robbed by man wrapped in bandages
Montgomery County Police are on the hunt for a man who they say robbed a Montgomery Village CVS on Christmas Eve while wearing full bandages on his head and an arm sling.
Police say that the suspect entered the CVS Pharmacy at 19100 Montgomery Village Avenue at about 8:45 p.m. on Dec. 24. Saying that he was armed with a handgun, the man presented a note demanding drugs.
“We're hoping that someone in the public will recognize either the disguise or perhaps the suspect is in fact injured and someone knows his identity,” says officer Howard Hersh with the Montgomery County Police.
The suspect made off with drugs provided to him by store employees. No one was injured in the robbery, nor do police believe it was related to two other robberies of the same drug store in November.
Surveillance video captured images of the man during the robbery. The suspect is described as a mid-20s white male, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 200-230 pounds.
In the video, only the man's eyes can be seen due to the bandages encasing nearly his entire head.
