ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) - A new Metrobus route is beginning between Tysons Corner and the Mark Center in northern Virginia.
Metro says that on Monday the Route 28X Leesburg Pike Limited Service will be extended to include eastbound trips in the morning and westbound trips in the evening to the Mark Center in Alexandria, Va.
The buses will run every 25 to 30 minutes during rush hour between the Mark Center and Tysons Corner.
The new route includes stops at the West Falls Church Metro station and Seven Corners Shopping Center.
It will no longer make stops on Columbia Pike and Carlin Springs Road.
Metro says it will increase service between the West Falls Church Metro station and the Mark Center in June.
