Penn Camera Exchange Inc. files for Chapter 11
A camera seller with eight retails stores that has been a D.C.-area fixture since 1953 is closing because of bankruptcy.
Penn Camera Exchange Inc. announced Wednesday that it is filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the photographic needs of this community for nearly sixty years. We extend our deepest gratitude to our many employees and wish for them a smooth transition,” the company stated on its Website.
Customers that have repairs, processing or other business related items located in the stores that have closed may pick up their property as indicate below:
