January 16, 2012 - 08:37 am
The death of a 22-year-old woman in Centreville is being treated as Fairfax County's first homicide of the year, police say.
Fairfax County Police say that Benjamin Walker walked into a police station at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday and told officers that 22-year-old Ryah Leslie was dead at the home they shared in the 5900 block of Gunther Court.
Responding officers responded to the home and found Leslie's body. Walker has been charged with murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
