Power restored after outage affects almost 2,300 in NW
January 4, 2012 - 10:11 pm
The cold conditions were even worse for thousands of D.C. residents who lost power for several hours in Northwest Wednesday night.
At 5:32 p.m., an outage was reported in the Georgetown, Palisades and Glover Park areas and effected 2,281 customers, according to Pepco's website.
Pepco crews were seen working in the area of Foxhall Road NW and Reservoir Road NW.
A few hours after the lights went out, Pepco restored power to the neighborhood after finding and replacing some bad cables on Wisconsin Avenue between South Street NW and 34th Street NW.
