Prince George's County bus accident

Multiple students were transported to a local hospital in Prince George’s County after the school they were riding in was in a vehicle accident.

Prince George’s County police report that the bus crash occurred at Ritchie-Marlboro Road and Brooke Lane at about 9 a.m. There were more than 25 students on the bus at the time.

The school bus was heading to Henry Wise High School.

Seven students were taken to Prince George's Hospital. The others were loaded onto a bus and taken to school.

The two people in a vehicle involved in the crash were also taken to the hospital with serious, but not life threatening injuries.

The collision occurred during a heavy downpour of rain.
