Robert A. Norr killed in West Virginia kayaking accident

DAVIS, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia authorities are investigating a kayaking accident on the Blackwater River that killed a Maryland man.

Media outlets report that the accident occurred Sunday at Blackwater Falls State Park near Davis in Tucker County.
The state Division of Natural Resources says 20-year-old Robert A. Norr of Gaithersburg was trying to navigate Flat Liner Falls when he was pinned under a rock. He was kayaking with five other people at the time.
Searchers found Norr's body Monday morning. The body will be sent to the state medical examiner in Charleston for an autopsy.
