A Takoma Park teen was declared missing on Tuesday evening, as the Takoma Park Police Department are investigating the disappearance.

Shermaya Jenkins, 16, was last seen at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 21 on Houston Avenue in Takoma Park. The juvenile is a 5-foot-5 black female with black hair and brown eyes.

It is unknown what clothing she was wearing. She is known to frequent City Place Mall in downtown Silver Spring, the police department said.
