So Far, So Good for Edsall
Randy Edsall has had a first season to forget.
After riding high following his first win as Terps head coach against Miami on national TV, its been all down hill from there. Including players, some starters, opting to transfer out of Maryland.
But there's hope on the horizon. Edsall and company have landed some decent recruits already to the 2012 class.
Good Counsel Running Back Wes Brown just committed to Maryland staying at home.
Plus, Zach Dancel (whom Brown lives with) is transferring back home to College Park.
The DMV area is a hotbed of football talent so its imperative that Edsall keeps his homegrown talent... well HOME.
And so with Brown he's on the right track.
However the prize that still hangs out there is Good Counsel everything man, Stefon Diggs. Latest is his mother is in his ear, trying to sway him to stay in the state.
With DL Eddie Goldman, and others still out there it could be a recruiting class to remember in College Park.
Also, with the signing of Levern Jacobs, it may lead to his younger brother Suitland star Taivon Jacobs to sign with the Terps as well.
It will be an interesting couple of weeks until National Signing day...
Here are some local Maryland commitments:
