Sobriety checkpoint in College Park this weekend

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - A checkpoint this weekend is aimed at stopping drunken drivers near the University of Maryland campus in College Park.
Police say they'll have a sobriety checkpoint from 10 p.m. Saturday until 3 a.m. Sunday in the 7000 block of Baltimore Avenue in College Park. The area near campus has many bars and restaurants.
The checkpoint is being organized by the special operations division of the Prince George's County police department, the Maryland State Police and the University of Maryland police.
