Tamango Johnson accused of rape, impersonating police officer
A Baltimore man accused of impersonating a police officer and raping a woman at a hotel in Linthicum was arrested.
Police arrested Tamango Johnson, 38, and charged him with multiple counts of rape, sex offense and assault as well as false imprisonment and impersonating a police officer.
Johnson is accused of meeting a woman at the Microtel Inn and Suites located in the 1100 block of Winterson Road and sexually assaulting her on Dec. 27.
On Dec. 29, a different woman called police from the Microtel Inn and Suites, saying that a man who contacted her showed up at her door with handcuffs. Aware that another woman was sexually assaulted at the hotel, she contacted police.
Police investigated the case and arrested Johnson on Dec. 31.
