ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A man who pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing a pizza delivery driver has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Twenty-year-old Tavon Rudolph Brown of no fixed address was sentenced Monday. The Capital of Annapolis reports that he had pleaded guilty in October to second-degree murder in the killing of 46-year-old Ghulam Farooq of Woodlawn.
Police say in December 2010, Brown and his cousin ordered food from the pizza shop. When Farooq delivered it, the two robbed him of cash and car keys, and Brown stabbed Farooq in the chest.
