Three robberies in 30 minutes in Northwest

(AP) - D.C. police say three street robberies occurred within 30 minutes in prosperous areas of northwest Washington.
The Washington Post reports that a handgun was shown in at least one of the robberies on Sunday evening. Authorities say the first robbery was reported in the 3600 block of Warren Street in the north Cleveland Park area about 6:30 p.m.
About five minutes later, police say another robbery was reported about two miles away in the 5300 block of 39th Street in the Friendship Heights area.
Police say the third robbery occurred about 6:40 p.m. in the 2500 block of Porter Street.
