Westfield Montgomery Mall gas leak

A gas line at the Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda broke and leaked Wednesday, and fire officials are working to figure out what caused the breach.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue units were called to the mall, at 7101 Democracy Blvd., to investigate the gas leak, which occurred in a parking garage near the mall's movie theater.
No exact cause of the leak has been determined, but officials say a contractor was working near the line before the leak.
