Davon Rashad Wood, 21, charged in Ketcham Elementary sexual assault

Detectives have charged a man for the sexual assault of a student that occurred last week at Ketcham Elementary School in Southeast.
Davon Rashad Wood, 21, of Southeast, was arrested and charged Wednesday with second degree child sexual abuse, according to the Metropolitan Police Department's Youth Investigation Division.
On February 1 at 3:30 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of 15th Street, SE for the report of a sexual assault. Officers interviewed the victim who reported that an adult male had sexually assaulted her.
No other information was immediately available.
