Ann Jenene Cinnamon pleads guilty

A 41-year-old Sterling woman pleaded guilty Wednesday to hiring a hit man to kill her boyfriend’s mistress.
Ann Jenene Cinnamon, also known as Ann Jenene Greer, pleaded guilty to to murder-for-hire, which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. She is scheduled to be sentenced on May 4.
Authorities said Cinnamon in August 2011 contacted a man she had met on a social dating site called BeNaughty.com seeking to hire someone to murder her boyfriend’s mistress, going so far as to paying the alleged hitman a $100 down payment and planning her alibi.
The man she allegedly hired, however, told the authorities.
