UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) - Authorities say the man who provided a gun used to kill a Maryland state trooper outside a restaurant in 2010 has been sentenced to five years in prison.

Twenty-nine-year-old Anthony Milton had pleaded guilty to being an accessory after the fact in the death of Wesley Brown, a trooper who did part-time security at an Applebee's restaurant in Forestville.

The Washington Post (http://tinyurl.com/7fy7cnr) reports that the five-year sentence was part of a deal with prosecutors in which he agreed to testify against Cyril Cornelius Williams, who was convicted last week of first-degree murder and related offenses.

Prosecutors say Williams as upset because Brown had thrown him out of the restaurant earlier that night and returned to seek revenge.

Williams is scheduled to be sentenced in May.
