Ashley Jean Campbell, 27, of Cochranville, Pennsylvania was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of committing a fourth-degree sex offense. Campbell was a teacher at Montrose Christian School in Rockville.

On February 3, 2012, officials at Montrose Christian School received an anonymous email alleging a sexual relationship between a teacher and a 16-year-old male student. That same day, school officials contacted the Montgomery County Police Family Crimes Division.

Detectives spoke with the victim and learned that he and Campbell had been involved in a sexual relationship between the fall of 2010 and January 2012, police said. He and Campbell would drive in her vehicle to a park in Montgomery County where they would engage in sexual intercourse, the Police Department said.

All of the alleged events occurred in Campbell’s vehicle off of school property and after school hours.

Campbell turned herself into police Thursday morning without incident. She was charged with two counts of sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of committing a fourth-degree sex offense. Campbell posted bond and was released Thursday morning.
