Bethesda development project delayed
February 24, 2012 - 07:31 pm
The downtown development project that will take away a large parking lot in Bethesda, has been delayed. So, the anticipated parking problems won't get worse just yet.
Some shoppers aren't happy to hear that the biggest outdoor lot in town will be closing.
But when the project is finished, a four-level underground public parking garage will replace the outdoor lots.
The project is slated to be completed around June 2015.
ABC7's Greta Kreuz has more details and talks with shoppers, a retailer, and a Montgomery County official about the changes to come.
