WASHINGTON (AP) - The D.C. Council will be holding its annual retreat at the Washington Convention Center.
Tuesday's gathering will include training on ethics, technology and government transparency.
The training portion of the retreat will be closed to the public and the media, which is allowed under the district's open meetings law.
Beginning at noon, the meeting will be open, starting with a presentation on the district's finances from Chief Financial Officer Natwar Gandhi.
Afterward, the 12 councilmembers will discuss their committees' accomplishments in 2011 and their goals for this year.
