Darren Lee Marshall arrested for 2007 sexual assault in Gaithersburg

Matching DNA has led to the arrest of an Upper Marlboro man who is accused of sexually assaulting a hotel housekeeper in 2007.
Montgomery County Police arrested Darren Lee Marshall, 28, Monday on charges of first degree rape, first degree sex offense, first degree assault and third degree sex offense.
He is accused of sexually assaulting a 50-year-old housekeeper at a Holiday Inn in Gaithersburg in December 2007. During the investigation, police obtained DNA evidence that was eventually used to identify the suspect.
