Fair Oaks-area teenager sexually assaulted
Fairfax County Police detectives are searching for the man who they say sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl as she walked to a bus stop in the Fair Oaks area early Wednesday morning.
Police say that the teenager was walking to a school bus stop at about 6:20 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Fair Lakes Parkway and Monument Drive when a man began to follow her.
The suspect, who the victims says she had seen in the bushes near the bus stop before, made sexual comments toward her, then touched her inappropriately.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-6-inch white man in his 30's. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and had his hair styled into spikes, police say.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Solvers 1-866-411-TIPS or Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
