Fire destroys Hyattsville fire, displaces 5

Five people were displaced after a fire destroyed a house in Hyattsville early Sunday.
About 3:15 a.m., a fire broke out in a two-story structure in the 8000 block of 18th Avenue, according to the Prince George's Fire Department.
Firefighters were forced from the house due to mounting flames.
Five people were displaced and the house is thought to be completely destroyed.
No other information was immediately available.
