Germantown Subway robbery suspect sought by police
Montgomery County Police detectives are on the hunt for a man they say has robbed the same Germantown Subway restaurant twice since New Year's Day.
On both occasions, police say the man held up an employee at the Subway at 12601 Wisteria Drive at gunpoint. He was caught on surveillance camera during the second incident.
The first robbery took place just after 9:15 p.m. on Jan. 11, while the more recent one happened on Jan. 31 at about 9 p.m.
In both robberies, the suspect was wearing a black ski mask, black gloves, black jacket and black pants. He got away with an unknown amount of cash in both crimes.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, about 6 feet tall and weighing 150-170 pounds. Authorities believe the suspect is in his late 20's.
Anyone with information is asked to call Montgomery County Police or Crime Solvers.
