WASHINGTON (AP) - Federal authorities are returning eight ceramic artifacts to the people of Guatemala.
The Mayan artifacts date from 600 to 900 AD and were illegally exported.
The artifacts were recovered during an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Boston and a Customs and Border Protection inspection in Houston.
The repatriation ceremony is scheduled for Friday morning at the Guatemalan Embassy.
