Jose Santiago killed in fatal crash

A pedestrian killed in a collision in Aspen Hill Wednesday has been identified as Jose Santiago, 79.
Santiago was struck as he was crossing the northbound lanes of Connecticut Ave near the entrance to the Aspen Hill Shopping Center at about 11:30 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.
Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
