Prince George’s County deputies arrested an Oxon Hill man wanted for stealing a pair of Nike Foamposite sneakers at gunpoint.
Lamont Bennett was taken into custody on a warrant Friday. He is charged with first degree assault, armed robbery and theft of less than $1,000 value.
Police say Bennett robbed a person of a pair of red and black Nike Foamposit tennis shoes in the 5000 block Silver Hill Road in Suitland before fleeing.
Bennett is being held at the County Police Criminal Investigations Division.
