February 20, 2012 - 06:59 am
Lisa Ann Barrett, who was reported missing Monday, with increasing alarm because she was in danger of taking her own life, has been located safe and unharmed, Police said.
Barrett, of Wheaton, was last seen leaving her apartment after an argument with her boyfriend on Sunday. Police say she claimed she was going to commit suicide by slitting her wrists. Her boyfriend called police and she fled. Either late Sunday night or early Monday morning, Barrett also spoke with family members about her intent to take her own life, police say.
Police and family thanked the public and media outlets for publicizing the case.
