February 9, 2012 - 04:46 am
A man was gunned down outside his home in Riverdale Wednesday night and police are on the hunt for his killers.
About 10:15 p.m., authorities say the victim, a 19-year-old man, was sitting in front of his porch in the 6400 block of 61st Place when two masked people, wearing dark clothing, walked up and shot him. The suspects then took off.
The victim, Devon Mansa Gilkes of Riverdale, Md., who managed to run inside his home, later died at the hospital.
It’s unclear what led to the shooting.
The investigating is ongoing.
