Orange/Red/Yellow/Green lines delayed by weekend Metro work
WASHINGTON (AP) - Metro says weekend work will affect the orange, red, yellow and green lines.
Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, shuttle buses will replace orange line trains between East Falls Church and West Falls Church.
Customers traveling through the work zone should allow 20 to 30 minutes of additional travel time.
On the red line, trains will single track between Van Ness and Friendship Heights and between New York Avenue and Rhode Island Avenue.
Customers traveling through those areas should allow 10 to 15 minutes of additional time.
Green lines will also single track in two areas: between Naylor Road and Branch Avenue and between L'Enfant Plaza and Mount Vernon Square.
On Saturday and Sunday, yellow line trains will operate via the blue line between Huntington and Stadium-Armory.
