Reginald Edward Green charged with fatal stabbing of Alfonza Flythe

A man has been charged for the fatal stabbing near Gallaudet University on Friday, MPD officials say.
At 10:43 a.m., police responded to the 1300 block of New York Avenue NE and found a man who was unconscious with multiple stab wounds, according to a news release.
The man was taken to an area hospital where he died.
He was identified as Alfonza Flythe, 35, of Northeast.
Police have charged Reginald Edward Green, 25, of Northeast with murder while armed.
No other information was immediately available.
