Snow predicted for D.C. area Sunday - or not
Areas to the south and southwest of the D.C. metro area could see some snow this weekend.
Forecasters are warning to get ready for a storm Sunday. But just how much is in question.
The experts say the coming storm is a tricky one to predict, but city officials were preparing road crews for anywhere from a dusting to two inches or more of the white stuff, even through they believe with sun-warmed streets, the snow might not stick.
ABC7's Jennifer Donelan went to Fredericksburg to find out if people are excited about the potential for some real winter weather finally.
The likelihood of weekend snow covering what was a sunny downtown Fredericksburg today didn't seem real to most, not in 50-plus degree weather.
At Earl's True Value Hardware, there were stacks of shovels, de-icers, and sleds ready to go.
But most people aren't convinced there will be much snow.
