Spotsylvania County cash checking robbery
A check cashing store employee was found with his hands and feet bound after a robbery in Spotsylvania County that was captured on surveillance video.
The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s office on Thursday evening responded to the All Pro Check Cashing in Fredericksburg, Va., where they found the store employee.
The employee said that he was grabbed as he was unlocking the front door to the store on Thursday morning. He reported that a black male allegedly grabbed him and placed a gun in his back. A second male then allegedly locked the front door to the store, the Sheriff’s office said.
The suspects then ordered the employee to open the safe and cash drawers and then told him to lie on the floor. The employee’s hands and feet were then bound.
The Sheriff’s Office said that the suspects obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the back of the store on foot, where they were last seen.
The first suspect is described as a black male late 30’s to early 40’s, five foot six inches to five foot eight inches tall with an average build wearing dark clothing and a red cap. The race of the second suspect is unknown. The second suspect is reportedly five foot eight inches to six feet tall with a stockier build wearing dark clothing with a heavy jacket and hood covering his face.
