February 6, 2012 - 09:36 pm
Police arrested and charged a 15-year-old teen for robbing a student at the University of Maryland last month.
On January 29, a female UMD student said a teen approached her and took her cell phone by physical force near McKeldin Library on McKeldin Mall, then fled toward the Chincoteague building.
Police released a surveillance video image of the attacker.
The teen was arrested Monday and charged with robbery, second degree assault and theft under $1000.
