Two pedestrians struck in H Street NW

Police are investigating a crash in the 1300 block of H Street NW involving at least three people, including a small child.

Authorities said a man is being removed from a vehicle while a woman and small child were injured and taken to a local hospital.
Nearby, a female motorcycle cop working a motorcade detail for a motorcade from the country of Georgia was also injured.
She was trying to stop traffic on 14th Street so motorcade could pass on F St when she was struck by a car.
Her injuries were reported to be non-life threatening.
