Will Donald Trump's endorsement hinder Mitt Romney's chances in Nevada?
Although Republican candidate Mitt Romney says he's glad to have the endorsement of real estate mogul Donald Trump, many critics wonder if this latest show of support will help or hurt Romney’s chances in tomorrow’s caucuses in Nevada.
Trump announced his support on the Las Vegas Strip in the lobby of a luxury hotel that bears his name. He calls Romney tough, smart and sharp.
A recent FOX News poll found that only 10 percent of Americans said they would be more likely to vote for a Trump-endorsed candidate, but two-thirds said it would not make a difference.
After his loss in Florida, New Gingrich is trying to build support in Nevada, with the billionaire behind him.
"I actually called him twice last night,” Trump said of Newt Gingrich. “I left a message, I hope it was the right number. I like him a lot. He's a friend of mine. I like him a lot."
