March 5, 2012 - 08:31 am
BALTIMORE (AP/ABC7) - Authorities say the body of a missing 13-year-old girl has been found underneath plastic trash bags in northeast Baltimore.
Detective Donny Moses, a police spokesman, says the girl's body was found by her 16-year-old brother in the 1600 block of Cliftview Avenue about 6 p.m. Sunday. Moses says the body had suffered from trauma.
Homicide detectives confirmed Monday morning that a gunshot wound killed the Monae Turnage, who family members say went out roller skating on Saturday night and never returned.
Family members reported her missing the next day.
