Capital Beltway reopens after five-car crash in Silver Spring

All lanes of the Capital Beltway's outer loop are back open after a five-car crash in Silver Spring.
Maryland State Police reports one person has been taken to the hospital, but their condition is unknown.
All lanes of the outer loop of the Capital Beltway were blocked but were reopened just before 6 a.m.
All cars involved in the crash have been moved to the shoulder, police say.
Motorists should expect delays in the area.
